In light of the Brecon Beacons name change, we are wondering- do you stick to what you know or welcome change? Is it Principality or Millennium? A Marathon bar or Snickers?
This week saw the controversial news that the Brecon Beacons is officially being renamed "Bannau Brycheiniog", in response to the urgent need for a new way of being amid the climate and biodiversity emergency.
The decision has sent shockwaves throughout the country and sparked debate across a variety of platforms.
Local MP Fay Jones said: "I have serious concerns about the way in which this situation has been handled by the National Park. There seems to have been no public consultation about the effect the change would have on the local community, businesses and our way of life. Many people here in this community describe themselves as "from the Brecon Beacons".
"An unelected National Park Committee does not have the right to change this without consulting the people living within the park."

Meanwhile, others such as Welsh Liberal Democrat Leader and Mid & West Wales Senedd Member Jane Dodds are in full support of the name change, she said: “It’s great to see the re-introduction of the name Bannau Brycheiniog today.
"The message put forward by the Park is a clear example of how we can use the region’s history to build a better future for the park.
“Other countries like New Zealand see the use of their indigenous languages such as Māori as not only key to protecting their history and culture, but also as a key marketing tool. There is no reason we shouldn’t be doing so in Wales."
We at The Brecon & Radnor Express held our own poll asking readers if they liked the name change or found it to be a massive waste of time and the results show that while 41% supported the change, 51% disagreed and the remaining 8% did not care.
This got us thinking about all the other name changes and rebrands in the past, and whether or not we use them.
Many of us might use the original name out of force of habit or simply because of our generation. Otherwise, various changes have become commonplace, to the point where we may not remember any different!
So we have compiled a series of name changes below – show what you use or comment on our social media with any we may have forgotten.
